Welcome to Friends of Gunnersbury Park & Museum
Welcome! Gunnersbury Park is 180 acres of parkland, open space, sports ground, wildlife areas and historic and formal gardens, with many historic buildings. Gunnersbury Park Museum – opened in the 1920s, when the Park was acquired – is the local history museum for the 500,000+ people who live in the London Boroughs of Ealing and Hounslow.
On this website we hope you will read the latest news, join in the discussions about the future of Gunnersbury, browse through the Friends’ Newsletters, add your memories of enjoying the park and the museum, and perhaps post some favourite photographs in the Our Gunnersbury section.
Gunnersbury has been in the news for a long time because of difficulties with funding, neglect and decay. Like many of our public parks, it needs interest, enthusiasm and affection. Please find out more…
